Paper Art-Yulia Brodsjaya’s Paper Cutting Art Technique
I have to say I am a fan of Paper art and here is an illustration by Yulia Brodskaya of how to
really have a 3D paper cutting art display. I have always been interested in the art of shop
displays and I think it is a real crime that no one is keeping records of the changes in paper art.
Aigner Architecture designed this stunning shop display layout for the eyewear store
Freudenhaus at 37 Leopoldstraffe in Munich.
The design features a white , clean space , with clear tubular displays hanging from the ceiling or
potruding from the walls, a minimalist aesthetics that feels ever so futuristic.
I love the massive white shop counter with it’s “floating” sensation.
The wall fittings, circular and unobtrusive, use clear tubes displays that are sleek and classy,
the whole focus is the product.
This magnificent design manages to display the glasses, in such an enhanced way that they feel
as if they are works of art .
As promised , another one of m.lavine’s shop displays .
This sign holder display is made of a formed metal tube (Copper metallic powdercoated );
featuring laser cut frame and an acrylic insert.
It cuts an elegant, clean shape that can only enhance the feel of your shop.
I admire m.lavine’s custom made displays and will be posting more images in the near future.
Another original Selfridges window display,
Like all their window installations ,
this one is bold, fun, daring and confounding,
great formula to catch the eye of the public.
For a whole set of Selfridges past windows see this Flickr group.
I know this is not related to shop displays but we all have suffered never ending meetings before, hence this post !.
I love this wonderful jewelry display by M Lavine design workshop !
The level of craftmanship and design it’s inspiring, they go out of their way to make sure the display fits the shops display needs and purposes.
I will be posting a few other images in weeks to come, even though these displays images are meant as inpiration and guidance only of what’s possible, you can dream up your great shop displays.
